Leadership Team

Mark Bean is married to Carolyn and have two boys, Danny & Joe. They have a passion to see a church that is contemporary and relevant to the community they serve and a place where people can reach their full potential and feel at home in the moment they arrive.

Carolyn Bean is the Leadership Coordinator and looks after the day to day running of the church.

Glenn Balfour is Vice Principal at Mattersey Hall Bible College. He is an excellent communicator whose teaching ministry keeps everything we do grounded in Biblical principles. He travels widely and is committed to keeping overseas missions a key focus of LCCC’s activities. Glenn is married to Caroline and has two sons and two daughters.

Mick Lowde has lived in Langold all of his life. Mick & Irene’s home is a place where everyone finds a welcome from the young who enjoy a game of ‘bow and arrows’ to the old who can’t resist Irene’s baking. Mick’s currently runs our Food For thought and is involved with Silver Service for the over 60's.

George Hurt is our respected ‘elder statesman’ and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. George is passionate about prayer and intercession and is married to Pauline with three grown-up daughters.

Marcus Wichmann joined us this year as our Youth Co-ordinator. Originally from Worcestershire
he has recently graduated from Mattersey Hall Bible College.
